Irish education technology company MESO has expanded its presence across three of Ireland's leading innovation centres, establishing office and meeting space at the Trinity Innovation Hub, the ADAPT Centre at Trinity College Dublin and NovaUCD, as reported by the ADAPT Centre.

The expansion is designed to bring engineers, researchers and business strategists together across three locations, accelerating innovation while maintaining close collaboration with academic and industry partners within Ireland's research and technology ecosystem.

MESO was founded by teacher and CEO Dr Chris Byrne, whose platform uses artificial intelligence to automate lesson planning, generate curriculum-aligned assessments and create study guides intended to reduce teacher workload and support more personalised learning outcomes for students.

The platform is built on Dr Byrne's research into curriculum change and the psychology of educational decision-making, with the stated goal of helping educators spend more time focused on students rather than administrative preparation tasks that currently occupy a significant proportion of working hours across the profession.

The ADAPT Centre at Trinity College Dublin, where MESO has established one of its three locations, is Ireland's national research centre for AI-driven content and media technology, funded by Science Foundation Ireland. Its focus on human-centred AI provides a research environment directly relevant to MESO's evidence-based approach to product development.

NovaUCD, the innovation and technology transfer hub of University College Dublin, provides MESO with access to a second major research university ecosystem, connecting the company with academic expertise, early-stage company supports and industry partnership networks that complement its Trinity-based research relationships.

As part of its growth strategy, MESO is inviting schools and education authorities to engage with its MESO Fellows programme, which supports teacher-led co-design of future platform features, embedding practitioner expertise directly into the product development process and ensuring the platform evolves in response to real classroom needs.

The three-hub expansion positions MESO within Ireland's established research and innovation infrastructure at a time when demand for evidence-based AI tools in education is growing across the primary and secondary school sectors nationally and internationally.
