After years of delays, construction is finally underway on two long-promised university buildings for South East Technological University — a move that signals renewed momentum in Ireland’s regional education infrastructure.

Waterford’s new Engineering, Computing and General Teaching Building will serve over 3,400 students and stands as the largest project in the national Higher Education PPP programme. Carlow’s Advanced Science Building will support growth in STEM education with cutting-edge labs, clinics, and an indoor sprint track.
