
Saudi Arabia’s K-12 market is booming with international demand
Saudi Arabia’s K-12 education sector is undergoing rapid expansion, fuelled by robust economic growth and a rising demand for international schooling. Speaking at the IPSEF conference in London, Deputy Minister of Education for Investment Abdulrahman AlHajri highlighted the country’s strategic push to diversify its economy through Vision 2030—and education is at its core.
With only 17–18% of children currently enrolled in private schools, AlHajri sees vast potential for growth, estimating the private education opportunity at up to SAR 60 billion (approx. £10 billion). Increasing openness and global engagement are also creating fertile ground for foreign providers and international partnerships, as the country works to modernise and build globally competitive citizens.
