Kahoot! has appointed Jon Neale as Growth Director for the UK and Ireland, strengthening its education and EdTech leadership. Neale brings 20 years of experience in education and 10 years in EdTech, including senior roles at Quizizz, Ed Before Tech, and Brisk Teaching.
Kahoot! provides digital learning tools used in schools, universities, and corporate training. Its platform supports interactive quizzes, assessments, and learning activities that facilitate classroom, hybrid, and workplace learning models. The company’s tools are widely adopted across multiple countries and sectors, supporting engagement, retention, and skills development.
In his new role, Neale will focus on expanding partnerships across schools, universities, and corporate learning programmes while connecting with Kahoot!’s existing community of educators. His previous experience includes consultancy on technology adoption and policy alignment, alongside founding Ed Before Tech, advising schools, ministries, and EdTech organisations on strategy and implementation.
The appointment highlights Kahoot!’s continued investment in regional leadership to support post-pandemic learning models. As schools and colleges increasingly adopt hybrid and digital teaching methods, the company aims to enhance platform adoption and engagement in both academic and professional learning contexts.
Recruiting a UK-based growth director also positions Kahoot! to respond to rising competition among learning platforms, align its business growth with educational impact, and maintain relevance for teachers, students, and corporate learners. Neale’s role will include connecting with local education stakeholders and developing initiatives that strengthen school and enterprise partnerships.
Jon Neale said he is “excited to lead purposeful impact across both education and business, building partnerships and connecting with the amazing community of educators and organisations.”
