Dr. Ingrid Hunt

Senior Educational Developer & Lecturer, Supply Chain Management, University of Limerick

Dr. Ingrid Hunt is a Lecturer and Senior Educational Developer in the School of Engineering at the University of Limerick. She is a qualified engineering graduate with strong teaching and research skills. She has over twenty years of global experience working on research funded projects and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Her role at the University involves working closely with industry experts and she has a proven ability to create, implement and promote educational programmes.  She has been recognised by industry for her personal commitment to their industry learners.

Recently she has played a leading role in the design, development and delivery of postgraduate industry online programmes in the area of Supply Chain Operations at the School of Engineering. Working closely with multinationals such as Dell and Infineon she has designed modules that are meeting the needs of industry learners. Supervising industry led projects every year provides Ingrid with up to date current practice in the area of Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management in which Ingrid transfers this knowledge into curricula content. Ingrid is a member of a number of academic boards and is currently an External Examiner at the Institute of Technology, Sligo.  Ingrid has a keen interest in encouraging STEM subjects for younger learners and raising the profile of engineering for girls.
